Quentin Blake celebrates 30 years as a writer and artist with this zany picture book about a very unusual baby. As Zagazoo grows he goes through a number of bizarre changes--one day he's a vulture, the next an elephant, then a warthog. His poor parents, George and Bella, find it impossible to keep up with all his changes until, one day, something miraculous occurs. Accompanied by Quentin Blake's typically hilarious illustrations this book is a delight for children, but will also be thoroughly enjoyed by all parents. -- Philippa Reece
About the Author:
Quentin Blake has been drawing ever since he can remember. He taught illustration for over twenty years at the Royal College of Art, of which he is an honorary professor. He has won many prizes, including the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration, the Eleanor Farjeon Award and the Kate Greenaway Medal, and in 1999 he was appointed the first Children’s Laureate. In the 2013 New Year’s Honours List he was knighted for services to illustration.
