This edition maintains the text's trademark balance of big ideas and supporting detail, breadth and depth, and research and application, all framed by a pedagogical system that effectively guides the student through the key concepts of psychology. Learning goals launch each chapter and serve as the organizing mechanism for the text and supporting materials. Rich applications and current research help students emerge with an understanding of the key concepts, rather than merely providing a collection of details. The updated seventh edition introduces a new multimedia program, a new supplements package, and cutting-edge research.
