Computer Accounting with Peachtree Complete, Release 8.0 teaches students how to use Peachtree Complete Accounting software. This edition will move from Peachtree Accounting for Windows to Peachtree Complete, keeping us ahead of our competitors. Since Peachtree Accounting for Windows will no longer be networkable, Peachtree Complete will be the only networkable Peachtree product. Networkability is important to this market, so it is important that we offer it.
Peachtree Complete software also includes time and billing and fixed assets depreciation, which were not covered in the previous editions/software versions.
New Going to the Net exercises have been added in every chapter. This provides students more practice on the web, as well as extra reinforcement of chapter concepts. (The Going to the Net exercises will have a solution in the Instructor's Manual.)
The software CD-ROM, Peachtree Complete Release 8.0 will be packaged with every text. This allows students to have their own copy of the software for use at home or on campus.These replace the old teaching transparencies and will be an improved additional teaching resource the classroom.
Peachtree's two sample companies, Bellwether Garden Supply, a retail business and service company, and Pavilion Design Group, a service company, are incorporated into Part I of the text.
