The "Conceptual Cost Estimating" chapter has been expanded with additional emphasis on preparing early estimates.
The "Highways and Pavements" chapter has been completely rewritten to include modern equipment and illustrative examples of preparing cost estimates for asphalt and concrete pavements.
Three new chapters have been added: "Contract Documents," "Estimating Process," and "Computer Estimating," which offer a wealth of information on these subjects.
A CD of the HeavyBid/Express is included in the book to complement the chapter on computer estimating. The tutorial on the CD assists the reader in the process of computer estimating.
