About the Author:

Soren Gordhamer is the author of the meditation book for teens Just Say Om! He has taught stress reduction programs in numerous settings, and is the founder of the Lineage Project, a non-profit organisation that has taught meditation and yoga-based stress reduction programs to incarcerated teens in New York City for the last seven years. Soren and the Lineage Project won the NYC Mayor's Voluntary Action Award. He is also co-founder and CEO of Zooleo, a Web 2.0 internet company. A former Project Director for Richard Gere's public charity, Healing the Divide, he organised (with Buddhist teacher, Jack Kornfield) the Healing through Great Difficulty Conference, which brought the Dalai Lama in discussion with former teen and adult prisoners. Soren is also contributor to the Generation X anthologies Blue Jean Buddha edited by Sumi Loundon and Radical Spirit edited by Stephen Dinan. He has been featured in GQ Magazine, Newsweek.com, and mentioned in Esquire and other publications.
