Review:

Traveling alone from Nachez to Umbiguitious, Texas to stay with her aunt, Anne-Marie Cameron suddenly finds herself offering weak comfort to a dying bandito in San Antonio. Proclaiming her an angel, the outlaw confides to her the whereabouts of a million dollars worth of gold that he has hidden in Mexico. Bounty hunter Rafe Mantalvo, witnesses the exchange and follows Anne all the way to Umbiguitious wanting the gold for his own personal reasons, involving a murderous act of revenge. Deathly afraid of the tall pistolaro, Anne realizes that he is following her and rushes to the safety of her aunt's home, only to find that her aunt has passed away. Alone and destitute, she forges off into the desert, determined to find the gold and buy her aunt's home from the bank. It soon becomes apparent that she cannot make it alone and she is forced to accept Rafe's offer to take her to where the gold is hidden. Stalked by an evil band of caballeros and haunted by memories of his past, Rafe is drawn to the courageous beauty who offers him something he thought he was incapeable of ever feeling again.
