Throughout, the emphasis is on the ACI approach involving strength and serviceability "limit states" and factored loads. Chu–Kia Wang, is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His fields of interest include structural engineering, structural analysis and design, and computerized matrix method of analysis.
