A groundbreaking mix of fiction and full-colour comic strip that follows a headstrong girl’s journey into the bizarre fictional world of Abadazad to rescue her younger brother.
In ‘The Dream Thief’, Kate needs all the help she can get when she encounters the Lanky Man.
He’s mean and heartless, and he wants to steal children’s dreams. Everyone seems to be against her – which only makes her more determined to find her brother. And Matt is getting closer – isn’t he?

Okay, so I'm gonna show you more of what happens in the next part of my diary.
If I had to give it a title, I'd call it The Dream Thief, since it's mostly about the Lanky Man (that creepy guy on the cover), but it's also about me, my brother Matty and a talking candle called Master Wix.
It's even weirder than the stuff in the last book, but every word of it is true. I SWEAR.
The average idiot on the street would think I was making it up, but I figure if you're reading this you're NOT an average idiot. As Queen Ija once told me, when it comes to magic, believing's the MOST IMPORTANT THING.

P.S. This book has all you need to know about the story so far, but for the WHOLE story so far, check out The Road to Inconceivable.
