This volume is unique in its coverage of military aircraft for it details all surviving airworthy types dotted across the globe today. From World War 1 biplane designs to recently retired jet fighters like the F-4 Phantom II, this book covers all ten decades of military aviation in the 20th century. I have included about 215 different aeroplane types in this book, each with a concise appraisal of the aircraft's development and service history. A full specification also gives details on dimensions, weights, performance, first flight and surviving examples.
