About the Author:

Maths Direct has been planned and written by a team including leading educationalists, classroom teachers and maths advisors. Mundher Adhami (general editor) is a Research Fellow at Kings College London and is National Co-ordinator of the Cognitive Acceleration in Mathematics Education (CAME) project. Jean Cheshire is SENCO Maths at Homewood School and 6th Form College, Tenterden, Kent. Christine Collins is Secondary Maths Co-ordinator at St Giles Special School, Croydon. Mark Pepper is Head of Maths at Linden Lodge School for the blind and visually impaired, Southfields. Anne White is General Adviser with responsibility for maths, Cambridgeshire County Council. She is an OFSTED inspector and a tutor for the CAME Project (Kings College).
