Volume 2 has Introduction in front; A Presidential gallery of Lincoln through Nixon and index in rear of book. The presidential gallery is composed of full page color portraits and personal data of these presidents. Volume 2 has 352 pages and contains 3 parts: Part 1-Forging of the Union (1861-1897); Part 2- The World at War (1898-1945); Part 3-A New Universe (1945-1976).
