Hi, This lot is the rare 1938 Original Hardback. The FIRST year of the new style hardback. This book is in very nice condition, which is amazing for a 1938 as they usually come pretty ropey. This book has strong gilt to the front and spine (spine is usually faded) , the hinges are both strong and the pages inside are nice and clean, one of the better 1938s , the only defect is a small name to the first right hand page and some lightening to the cloth at the base of the spine.
