Hi, This lot is an 1904 Original Hardback Wisden, in Poor to OK Condition. The 9th Wisden Hardback. The first ten Hardbacks are the tricky ones. This book has a few things to note but the price is exceptional and woould suit a collector that wants all hardbacks but doesn't mind a drop in condition to meet a budget. This Wisden has some fading to the gilts to the front and the spine, a worn patch middle of the front board has more fading to the letters than the rest of the board. Rounding of corners to the boards with a small patch of colourloss to the bottom left corner of the front. Small marks. The spine cloth is ok has faded gilt, the rear board has the odd small mark and rounded corners. The book is still bound in one however the hinges are both weak and it wouldn't survive a drop down the stairs. Some marks and corner loss to the front right yellow page , nice pages inside,good photoplate too, it is very shaky, especailly to the rear which has a weaker hinge than the front. Condition=5/10.
