About the Author:
The Editor: Uwe Baumann was born in Duesseldorf in 1953. He studied History, English Literature and Philosophy at Oxford (1975) and Duesseldorf University, where he took his Ph.D. in 1982. Habilitation (post-doctoral thesis) at Heinrich-Heine-University Duesseldorf 1989/1990.
