About the Author:

The Author: Solomon Lipp received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and is Professor Emeritus of Hispanic Studies at McGill University. He has lectured in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America. Dr. Lipp has served as Fulbright scholar in Latin American universities and is the author of "Three Argentine Thinkers, Three Chilean Thinkers, USA-Spanish America: Challenge and Response," as well as books on Leopoldo Zea and Francisco Giner de los Rios. Dr. Lipp has published widely in professional journals."
