Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Two Eggs on My Plate. By Oluf Reed Olsen Hardback (1953) Hardcover, very good condition, minor shelf wear. Allen & Unwin, London, 1953, sixth impression. A vivid picture of counter-espionage in Norway, and the risks its operatives took daily. The title refers to the extra fried egg flyers got before a dangeorus mission, as Oluf Olsen got when he returned to occupied Norway by parachute to sabotage and spy on shipping movements. The drop came after a gripping escape from Norway - that and his subsequent underground life in his homeland made one of the great drama stories of WW2.
