Minor edge and corner wear, lightly scuffed and scratched, corners are gently bumped and rubbed, front and rear hinges are cracked, lightly shelf worn, stain on the spine and fraying in the top and base as well, overall a clean used first edition! Red cloth with gilt lettering and illustration on the front cover and black lettering on the spine. 225 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical pages of text and many wonderful historic black and white illustrations and photographs! Frontis is a black and white illustration of Mr. Oseba.
