Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This G- quality book was copyrighted in 1903 and is published by David McKay; it is 7-1/2" tall with 416 numbered pages of text. It is a reading copy only. This book is square, reasonably clean, with all four corners bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with fraying at the heel. The spine is heavily soiled; the front panel is reasonably clean but with substantial wear along the fore edge. Except for the removal of the frontis, the interior is complete and free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The text paper is lightly toned and it remains flexible and not brittle. The front hinge is completely exposed at the title page and is quite weak; the rear hinge is undamaged. This is reading copy only.

This VG- quality book was copyrighted in 1900 and is published by David McKay; it is 7-1/2" tall with 312 numbered pages of text followed by 6 unnumbered pages of ads. This book is square, moderately-to-heavily soiled, free of edge dings with all four corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with fraying at both ends. The spine is moderately soiled but the lettering and image of Frank are just fine; the front panel is also pretty much intact but with a moderate amount of soiling. The interior is complete and free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The text paper is lightly toned and it remains flexible and not brittle. Though the end paper covering the hinges is starting to tear, both the hinges are reasonably strong. The frontis on coated paper is present and not damaged. The series list at the end of the book lists 24 titles from this series.
