Damon Runyon's "Guys and Dolls" remains one of the great musical stage plays of the 20th century, presenting a performance spectacular that had, not only great music, but an inviting story line. The show was, of course, based on a story by Damon Runyon; the music and lyrics were by Frank Loesser; the dances and musical numbers were staged by Michael Kidd. George S. Kaufman accomplished the staging. ************************************* This is a souvenir program from an early 1950s production of "Guys and Dolls" that was performed in Syracuse New York, at the RKO Keith's Theatre.
