Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Collins, 1966. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Illustrated by Edward Ardizzone. Dust jacket condition: Fair. Jacket has abrasions and some chipping at corners, and the same is true of the spine, where there are also some tears - one of just under 1cm at the top, and the other of just under 2cm at the bottom. There is some general grubbiness and shelf-war from age and use, and the cover jacket appears to have shifted slightly so that the part that should be solely over the spine extends onto the front cover. Book condition: Good. Corners and spine are a little bumped and there is some fading to the top of the spine. The text-block is quite grubby and has some foxing. Internal foxing is rare, though it does appear on, or bleed onto, some pages.
