This is a selection of from a daily feature in The Age Junior Section. 24 X 18.5 cm. Illustrated throughout. Pictorial, double stapled wrappers. Wrappers are chipped at base of spine as well as at top and bottom rt. cnrs. of front wrap. A few minor brown spots at top left of front wrap. There is a closed tear on p.28. Decorative Boards. Condition: Very Good. Roland Clibborn (illustrator). The 1944 2nd printing of this wonderful collection of wartime Irish comics, centered around a pig named "Curly Wee" and a goose named "Gussie Goose". Solid and VG in its pictorial boards. Lacking the upper 1" at the spine crown and the lower 1" along the base of the spine. A streak of light offsetting along the rear panel, mild spotting to the front panel. Still though, very sturdy and presentable. The stories written by Maud Budden, the illustrations supplied by Roland Clibborn.
