Book is in better condition than most examples of this age. Neat, clean, well bound pages with very minimal foxing, tanning and thumbing. Small inscriptions and neat labels may be present. Paper cover has mild edge-wear with light rubbing and creasing. Some light marking and sunning.

The first Enid Blyton's Nature Lovers Book is published by Evans Brothers in 1953. The second Enid Blyton's Animal Lover's Book is published in 1952 and is a First Edition. Size: 19 x 25 cms or 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches. Both books are hardcover. Both have green cloth covers with gilt lettering to the front and the spine. The green endpapers are decorated with pictures of woodland animals and a family walking through the wood. The coloured jackets show woodland creatures and birds. The first book has 16 full-page colour plates by Noel Hopking, the second has 9 by E Mansell. There are numerous decorations and inset images in black and white by Donia Nachsen and Norman R. Satchell. Contents include stories, poems and notes about animals and country life. Condition: Very Good. The cover of Enid Blyton's Nature Lover's Book is clean and fresh. The contents too are clean; the book having the appearance of being unread. The jacket is worn at all the edges. There is some loss to the top right hand corner of the front cover. The Animal Lover's Book is similarly fresh. The jacket is worn and creased at the edges but there is no loss. some repairs have been made to the jackets from the reverse side using paper and one some now elderly sellotape.
