Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. The year 2021 sees the publication of the third annual of the archaeological section of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck. The 124 full-colour pages describe the latest excavations and archaeological results, research, reports and projects from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lübeck's historic city centre and adjacent areas, as far as the shores of the Baltic. Amongst others, it covers the now 'famous Lübeck cake find, news from the craftsmen's quarter and the exciting discoveries alongside the city's oldest brick building. From the surrounding countryside, there are news concerning the settlement excavations in the Semiramis industrial park with its exceptional density of features - a veritable El Dorado for prehistory - as well as unexpected finds in an allotment area and already forgotten bunkers and anti-aircraft positions of the Second World War. Finally, a contribution on digital finds recording and the inclusion of archaeology into the city's digital cultural life provides a glimpse into the future. 175 pp. Deutsch.
