Crisp subsequently became a Professor of Psychiatry and specialist in the condition of Anorexia Nervosa. BOOK:Original cloth binding in blue, lettered gilt at spine 'M.D. 1966 A.H. Crisp.' Typed pages with black and white photographs and charts to illustrate the text. Ownership stamp on front endpaper 'Academic Registrar, University of London.' /Professor Arthur H. Crisp (1930-2006) was appointed Professor of Psychiatry at St George's Hospital Medical School in 1967. It was from there and the Atkinson Morley Hospital that he built up a Department of Psychiatry and an extensive clinical service for patients with eating disorders.Ê He obtained his medical degree only 11 years before being appointed to the St George's Chair. (Westminster Medical School 1956.) Very good. Very slight rubbing.
