(ii) 29pp, roy 8vo, stitched as issued. (iii) With 2 partial plans of the church, 221pp, qtr cloth, original printed wraps, a couple of leaves have the fore-edge margins creased and a few tears repaired to verso, few small portions missing from fore-edge of lower wrap. This case involved the pulling down a Pew to which the Respondent claims to be entitled in the Parish Church of Warminster. Philipps was the vicar of Warminster from 1859 until 1888. Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. In great condition and bound in black half calf and dark green buckram. The spine is slightly discoloured and lacks titling piece, however does have 5 raised gilt bands and the year of 1901 in gilt. Internally there are floral EPs, gilt edged block and it is a really nice tight copy, some light foxing in places. Fold out map of Bisley Ranges as frontispiece, fold out accounts between pages 82 and 83. Presents well.

Condition: Very Good. 6th edition. Color folded map, 68 x 106 cm folded to 18 x 14 cm in cover 19 x 15 cm. Cover illustrated with "picture postcard" scenes of London. Cover rather stained, map very good, with some discoloration along folds only. The handy District Railway map of London seems to have appeared under several imprints between the 1870s and the early 20th century. This copy issued by the agents for billboard advertising on the London, Chatham and Dover lines. Other copies of the same map at the same time bear the imprint of Samson Low. Both bound in publishers full brown leather with gilt arms on upper cover. Volume two has a bookplate of the Armourers & Brasiers Company with a presentation to the author underneath. From the author's library. A presentation dated 1961 in both volumes says "Presented to Mr. Roy Stamp for the library of Biggs of Maidenhead by W. H. Ellis grandson of the author". Some light rubbing to edges of leather. All edges gilt. A superb production. The colour of the leather is slightly different owing to the gap in the printing of both volumes. Scarce.
