Most of the binding shows light to moderate wear, but the cloth on the spine has a horizontal strip torn away near the foot. The front pastedown has a bookplate showing two trees in a decorative border and the words, "Joseph O. Morris / His Book". Early owner's inscription on the front flyleaf has a mark through it. The text is toned but is generally clean. The last few pages are wrinkled at the top edge. Inner hinges secure.
