Facsimile of the author's manuscript book with 4th impression of this edition that has a forward by Mary Jean St Clair (Alice's Granddaughter) and Introduction by Russell Ash and a selective ALICE Bibliography. The first title page of the facsimile is entitled :A Christmas Gift to a Dear Child in Memory of a Summer Day. This is printed in red and green a sis the actual title page. Each chapter also has a red first letter "C" and the chapter number. Illustrations are in black and white as drawn by Carroll. The manuscript has been photographed and reproduced with precise fidelity to the original. Bound in dark green clothe with pictorial paper 3/4 cover on front and back.
