(Hardcover, 1976). 1976 1st edition. Large 4to (235 x 305mm). Pp256. Colour photographs, b/w and colour illustrations by Dietrich Burkel, photograph end-papers. Green boards, spine titled in light blue. Minor faults. Good copy, lacks dust-wrapper. A large and well-illustrated introduction to all kinds of angling in UK waters, with a very good freshwater and sea-fish identification guide. Appended are tying illustrations of some of the most commonly used knots and a glossary of angling terms. The first edition is clearly dated 1976, however, later reprints all state that the book was first published in 1977. .
