Some foxing, but the 334-page text is fully legible, complete and securely bound. Includes a frontispiece with tissue and one other illustration from a a photograph. Binding stub between the contents and illustrations page. Uncut fore and bottom edges. Purple cloth with stamped gilt titling at the top of the upper board. Both boards are a bit rubbed, the upper board has some splash staining, and the lower board is somewhat sunned along the top and spine edges.
