Some foxing to edges with minor insect damage to upper portion of fore edge. Personal library embossed stamp on front end paper and title page. Foxing present on title page and endpapers. Dust jacket has surface wear, two small stains on the front, some edge wear and chipping at corners and at the head and tail of the spine.

Charles Frodsham and Parkinson & Frodsham are two of the most famous chronometer making enterprises of the 19th and early 20th century. The book also covers the business of Frodsham & Keen as well as that of other family members. This is an excellent reference book about this family of chronometer, clock and watchmakers. A very good copy but with poor dust jacket.
