No Binding. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Original publisher's pamphlet with one piece of string binding the leaves of paper in center on spine. Printed in black ink on beige paper. 5" x 8 1/4." Pages are clean and intact overall but have offsetting from the printed text, occasional offsetting from other materials, occasional foxing, moderate age toning, a diagonal trim along bottom edge not affecting text, and a few small bumps, closed tears, and chips along edges. A Very Good copy. A report about reimbursement of funds to several states who furnished militias, weapons, and related goods and services for the federal government during the War of 1812. Among those states are Virginia, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Delaware, New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts. The report contains statistical data and reprinted correspondence by William H. Crawford, Tobias Lear, Robert Brent, James Monroe, and G. W. Gooch.
