The dj is now protected in a mylar sleeve.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Illustrated by Edward Gorey (illustrator). 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Color Illustrations; This book is in NeVery Good+ condition and is lacking a dust jacket. This is a reinforced library edition (but not ExLibrary copy) . The book is in clean bright condition. There is some beginning rubbing to the bottom spine end and a couple of very small spots of foxing to the spine joints. The text pages are clean and bright. He began authoring and publishing children's books in 1964, achieving both artistic and commercial success immediately with the now classic books Pleasant Fieldmouse, Cabbage Moon, Cobweb Castle, and others.
