Previous owner's name written neatly at top of front pastedown. The front free endpaper has a 1" piece cut from the edge & pasted on it is a newspaper clipping, dated 1932, of a detailed map of the area covered in the story. Interior has a few smudges but otherwise clean. Illustrated with a photo frontispiece. The dust jacket is worn, chipped & tattered, with pieces missing. The author, a sergeant in the Royal Candian Army & trapper in the North-west Territories tells his story of his life in the Arctic. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
