Agréable ouvrage illustré de 77 planches hors-texte en couleurs reproduisant les aquarelles du peintre franco-britannique Amédée Forestier (né en 1854 à Paris et mort en 1930 à Dulwich), spécialisé en paléoart. Il a également réalisé des portraits et des scènes historiques. Carte dépliante in-fine. Bon exemplaire, portant un ex-libris probablement anglais "W. Guy Horne".
