No Date (ca 1930). dj (unclipped) worn - parts of spine torn off but most of title still there, a few other short tears, nice yellow cloth with black vignette, decorations and lettering, spine tips a little rubbed. Colour frontispiece + many text ills by ERNEST ARIS, name on flyleaf, some internal and foredge foxing, frontispiece is a bit frayed on front edge, two pages have short tears repaired with tape, else g. 8vo, 64pp.

With one full-page illustration by Ernest Aris and many black and white. Hardcover. Size: 8 x 5 1/2 inches. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering and the image of a dog on the front. 8 stories featuring animals. Condition: Very Good. The boards are a little worn and the corners bumped. There is a white mark on the front.The colour picture opposite the title page is somewhat foxed. The pages within, but for some occasional foxing, are clean and un-thumbed. There is a neat gift inscription written in ink on the front end paper. Also a child's name written in pencil. There is no jacket.

Endpapers partly browned, foxing to textblock and some page margins. Dustwrapper is just slightly edge chipped with only minimal loss. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!.
