Scarce brochure advertising Seymour Dunn's Golf School in NYC, opened in Rockefeller Center in 1937. Professional at the Lake Placid Club for 21 years where he operated a golf club manufacturing business and a golf school. His mother, Elizabeth Gourlay, was the reigning woman player of her day. The interesting biographical list on the inside covers includes 1903 Golf Architect to King Leopold of Belgium, and 1904 Golf Architect to King Emmanual of Italy. Photographs of students, instructor, etc. the fragile brochure is creased from folding, hinges and creases archivally reinforced, staples oxidized. Covers protected in mylar. Designed in pocket-size, these booklets were intended to be referred to on the course and at the range. All show cover wear and soiling, former owner and book number written on covers, books I and II were folded, book V has a small loss to the upper rear cover near the spine. Covers protected in mylar.
