Some shelf wear with slightly bumped corners and light edgewear, but binding is tight and the pages are all clean with no markings. Has a bookplate sticker from original owner on front endpaper. DJ now protected in Mylar. DJ is tanned around edges and especially on the spine. DJ has edgewear including several tears along top edge repaired with tape on reverse side. Also the top1/2 inch of the DJ on the spine is missing. Pages inside are very lightly tanned but are clean and the many illustrations are clear. Rust colored cloth-covered boards with Freeman drawing of Homer on cover, titling & drawing in black to spine.
