Hardcover. Condition: Good. Sir Joshua Reynolds (illustrator). 8vo. 336 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound blue quarter cloth with blue paper-covered boards. The binding shows wear and bumping and has some white paint flecks on the front cover and spine. The endpapers and outside edges of the text block show heavy foxing. Text is toned with some occasional foxing. Early owner's signature of S. F. Mordeai on the front pastedown. Samuel F. Mordecai was the first dean of the Law School at Trinity College (now Duke University) at Durham, North Carolina.
