Binding is strong. Covers heavily discolored. Wear and rubbing to the corners and spine. A closed tear at the foot of the spine, on the front cover. This only goes through the outer layer of paper, spine still strong. Rubbing to fore-edge. Pages toned, but clean and free of foxing or stray marks. A small newspaper clipping, with the obituary of the author is glued to the half-title page. Tucked into the book is a Commencement announcement for the Senior class of University of Michigan. Annabelle Paxton is written in pencil on it, but it does not look like her signature on the half-title page. SIGNED by author on half-title page, where she has written, " Annabel Paxton to Isabel with Love January 25, 1942." Overall good condition. Please email with questions or to see any photos.
