The first and final few pages are moderately foxed, with minor foxing scattered lightly throughout the text. Illustrated with a frontisportrait of Milton, with small cracks at the hinge. Contains 24 tipped-in albumen prints by John Martin. Previous owner's bookplate neatly on the inside front cover: John Robson.
