Hardcover. Condition: Good+. 176 p. 23 cm. No publication date but circa the mid 1960s based on the copyright dates for the stories included. Sound and square binding in illustrated, cloth-covered boards. Worn through at the corners. Spine a little faded. Both boards show some light soil and rubbing. Previous owner's name and a room notation on the front endpapers. Both sets of endpapers are lightly toned. Inside pages have occasional light soil. The bottom edges are rippled from having been damped, with some pages showing a moisture line. One leaf has a small tear and crease to the front edge. Still perfectly legible if not the prettiest copy. A Level 3 reader from the Ginn Intergrated Language Program. This reader features Mr. Mugs in some of the stories. Illustrated in colour.
