Extensive chapters on Canada, the United States, Hawaii, Japan, Corea (Korea), China, Malay States, Java, The Celebes, Australia and New Zealand, and Ceylon (Sri Lanka). One chapter, on his tour in the U.S., is entitled 'Golf and Tennis The Other Side of the Atlantic'. Some of his comments are quite pithy, or curious, viz. 'They say that good Americans go to Paris to die; the hard-working Canadians would prefer Victoria' (BC). Spine and top edge of boards quite sunned. Name in pencil on front endpaper; date stamped on blank page at rear - no other markings. Binding sl. strained but nothing loose. Overall, in good plus condition. An account of his Lordship's 50,000 miles 'up and down the world'. Winnington-Ingram was bishop from 1902 to 1929.
