Dust jacket not clipped, with price of 2/6 on spine panel, rubbing along folds, a 1 1/2" tear top of front panel next to spine, some loss at ends of flaps and ends of spine panel, and faint erasure on front panel. From the front panel of the dj "This is THE Edition for 'Littlest' People' and "Retold by May Byron for Little People with the Approval of the Author". Six colour plates, including the frontispiece, all present. 135 pages. Not dated but gift inscription on front free endpaper dated "Xmas 1932". The illustration on the front panel of the dj is "The Never Bird" one of the plates in the book.
