Written by George William Beldam, an English first-class cricketer ad pioneer of action photography in sport. With contributions from Harold H. Hilton, J. H. Taylor, James Braid, Alexander Heard, and Harry Vardon. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping resulting in light loss to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. Splits in the cloth to the joints and the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound with the odd handling mark or crease to the page. Light age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Good. book.
