The boards are very tight and straight ad quite clean. "The Clevedon Community Co-operative Bookshop Bindery Team" have strengthened the top and tail edge of the spine book cloth. The Team have also inserted new end papers (dark red), The text block features b/w and bright colour illustrations throughout by John Gilbert, George Cruickshank and R. Dudley. The pages are tightly bound and a some are slightly foxed or marked. Some pages have a slight warp. With bright, unmarked giltl cut edges. No dedications etc.Good plus condition. Without jacket.
