Slight foxing throughout, text-block slightly shaken but still a good copy. "With a descriptive list of the plates and a biographical notice of Robert Seymour, including an account of his connexion with the Pickwick Papers, by Henry G. Bohn." Robert Seymour was an illustrator, best remembered for his illustrations of Charles Dickens' novels, particularly The Pickwick Papers. Alfred Crowquill was the pen-name of journalist and illustrator Alfred Henry Forrester. .
