Enclosed within the book is a 10½'' x 7½'' typed and SIGNED letter from Bing Crosby on his personal 'Bing Crosby Hollywood' printed wartime paper, dated December 30th, 1944 'Dear Mr. Norman, Due to material shortages, I'm not going to be able to send out any more photos for the duration. It's almost impossible to obtain photo stock envelopes or card boards and I'm saving what we have to take care of the requests of the boys and girls in the different services. I'm sure you'll bear with me in this until Victory is ours, and we can settle down again in peaceful living. Our next picture is ''Here Come The Waves'', some of the songs are already popular. Extremely scarce early wartime letter from the master crooner which has been folded in three, one of the two folds across the centre has been very neatly repaired to the edges of the reverse, the paper is generally creased.
