    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Volumes 1 and 2. Burgundy cloth over boards with gold lettering on front boards and spine. Title page of Vol. 1 dated 1983. Copyright page dated 1979. No date on title page of Vol. 2. Copyright page dated 1979, stated second printing 1990. Vol. 1 has 138 pages, vol. 2 has 201. Boards of both volumes have been well protected and are quite clean. Light shelf wear at bottom edge of spine of vol. 1. Gold lettering on front board and spine of both volumes is shiny and legible. Map of river corridors of Virginia on front endpapers of both volumes. Colonial map of "Curles of the James" on rear endpapers of volume 1. Small spots of toning at edges of rear endpapers of vol. 1. Bookplate on rear attached endpaper of volume 2 with name of "Lee Roy Martin" on it. Folded map of Prince George County Virginia around 1864 attached to endpapers of vol. 2. Foxing along fore edges of both volumes. Plate with illustration of a fruit bowl as frontispiece of vol 1. Pages of both volumes are neat and tidy. Bindings strong and secure with no missing pages.
