First edition hard back binding in publisher's original black cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine. 8vo. 9'' x 6''. Contains 304 printed pages of text with four monochrome illustrations throughout. Foxing to the page edges and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper. Typed letter dated 28th April, 1931 on The Kent Messenger' headed notepaper adhered to the front free end paper, and SIGNED by H. R. Pratt Boorman, the proprietor of the Maidstone based newspaper group. The letter refers to anyone who is connected with the editorial Staff of the Kent Messenger must read this book - twice!!
