Don Chipp created a new political party in Australia in the 1970 Â the Australian Democrats. He created his party to ostensibly "keep the bastards honest". This book sets out what his (then) new party was all about, its philosophies and where he wanted this party to go. It is also a small biography of Don Chipp. Creasing to the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. The laminate of the book has started to lift along the edges and there has been marked sunning of the book. Browning of the text block edges and pages.
